Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of dest.host (the “Service”), operated by DoomyGloom LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
dest.host lets you publish HTML, CSS, and related files and serves them at a public URL. Free accounts publish static pages; Pro accounts may additionally include JavaScript and forms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are for a single person or entity unless otherwise agreed.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to publish or transmit content that is illegal, infringing, malicious (including malware or phishing), deceptive, or harassing, or that violates the rights or privacy of others. You agree not to spam, mine cryptocurrency, attempt to breach or overload the Service, or impersonate others. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you publish. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service. You are solely responsible for your content and for holding the rights to publish it. Content you publish is public.
5. Pro subscriptions
Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually through Stripe. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal, and access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with reasonable notice; existing subscriptions keep their price until their next renewal.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time, which removes your posts. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or to protect the integrity and security of the Service.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoomyGloom LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. 8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains what DoomyGloom LLC collects when you use dest.host and how we use it. We collect as little as possible, and we do not sell your data or run advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account data: your username, a hashed password, your email address (if you provide one), and the IP address recorded when you sign up — used to prevent abuse.
- Content: the files and pages you publish, plus any descriptions, comments, and profile details you add.
- Payments: if you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a customer and subscription identifier and status; we never see or store your card details.
- Analytics: we count unique visitors per post using a salted, one-way hash of IP address and browser user-agent. We do not store raw IP addresses for analytics, and the hash cannot be reversed.
- Cookies: a single first-party cookie keeps you signed in. We use no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
To operate and secure the Service, authenticate you, prevent abuse and spam, process Pro billing, and send account email such as invites and password resets.
Sharing
We share data only with providers that help run the Service — Stripe (payments) and our email provider (transactional email). We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Public information
Content you publish, and your public display name, are visible to anyone. Your login username is not shown publicly.
Retention and deletion
Deleting your account removes your posts and associated data. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or billing purposes.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, delete your posts, and delete your account at any time. For other requests, contact desthost@doomygloom.com.
Disclaimer
User-published content
Pages on dest.host are published by individual users. They are served from an isolated content origin and are not created, reviewed, endorsed, or controlled by DoomyGloom LLC. Any opinions and materials in published pages are those of their authors.
No responsibility
DoomyGloom LLC is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or safety of user-published content or of any external sites it links to. You access user content at your own risk.
No warranty
The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Not professional advice
Nothing on the Service constitutes legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
